About Us
This is a humble effort on the part of the family of S. Balwant Singh Kapur to help in
nurturing hockey at grass root level and provide young players valuable experience
of playing competitive Hockey which is so necessary for their making a
mark in national and international hockey in due course.
It is a matter of pride for all associated with the Tournament that young players who
had played in this tournament in different years and had made their mark by their
selection as the best players in different categories of play ultimately made their way
to Indian Team to play in International tournaments. In the current Indian Hockey
Team many players like Akashdeep Singh, Rupinderpal Singh, Ramanjit Singh,
Talwinder Singh, Dharamvir Singh, Harjot Singh have played in this tournament. This
is partly realizing our dream of our grass root players achieving heights of glory in
International Hockey. Today 20+6 players who played in this Tournament from time
to time have donned India Team Jersey at both Junior and Senior level.
